I started my triathlon journey in late 2014 at 40 years old. For reasons I don't even remember, I told my wife one day out of the blue that I wanted to try one. I guess I just wanted to challenge myself and it was way out of my comfort zone. Without a background in swimming, cycling, or running, I took a weekend swimming workshop, bought a road bike, and started running and did my first sprint in 2015.

After doing 2 sprints and 3 olympics over the next few years, I decided I wanted to do a half IronMan. I knew I needed to use a real training plan, and being a husband, father, and full-time employee I also needed to be very efficient with my time and I needed to train smarter. I discovered TriDot late in 2018 and signed up for the PSP program. It's been a tremendous benefit to me and enabled me to feel completely confident at the starting line of my HIM in May, 2019.

I'm looking forward to continuing my journey and hopefully doing a full. Here's to exciting places, meeting new faces, fast paces, and crushing races!
