I always had a background in running. Highly competitive back in my high school days and military service. As the years went by, I stopped running. Little over three years ago now, I saw a triathlon group training at the local pool. Of course my curiosity got the best of me. I went over and asked the coach about it. Once he explained the three different disciplines that make up a triathlon, I thought well I kind of have one out of two down. I jumped in to the pool and he had me swim across the 25 yard lane. Needless to say I did not make it very far. Once I got the courage to sign up for a sprint distance triathlon, I was hooked. I joined a local Triathlon Club and continued to do Sprint distance races. The other more experienced members of the club talked about their 70,3 Half Ironman distance races. I thought to myself, I could never do those type of races. I will just stick to my Sprints and the occasional Olympic distance races. I can proudly say I just completed my fourth 70,3 Half Ironman race. On this last race, I used the TriDot Training Program. I must say, I felt prepared and confident on race day. Trust the training, and the results will be there on race day waiting for you.
