I fell in love with triathlon 30 years ago as a junior at The Citadel. While I only competed in two, I enjoyed them both and felt like this was the sport for me. I followed the likes of Dave Scott, Scott Tinley, and Mark Allen. Icons of the sport. Unfortunately, as life happens often, I fell out of the sport until around 2009 when I competed in a sprint tri hosted in the neighborhood I lived in. Over the next few years I competed in a few more sprint tris until 2016 when I upped my game and entered a local half Ironman, the RyanMan. The fire was rekindled. I repeated the RyanMan and decide the next year I would move up to a full and registered for the 2018 Chattanooga Ironman. Early in the year I also signed up for the Preseason Project with TriDot. All other training I had done was either with a local group or winging it. For the first time, I felt like I was training with a purpose and like a real triathlete. The TriDot training program has enabled me to improve in all three disciplines while maintaining a busy life. I will continue to use TriDot as long as I’m a triathlete. It’s the best program out there. I feel privileged to represent TriDot as an ambassador.
