I signed up for my first triathlon when I was 33 years old. Up until then, I had only done short distance running, racing in occasional 5Ks. The only biking I did was around town, and I had never swam laps in a pool, just recreational swimming in a lake during the summers. I wanted to step outside of my comfort zone and challenge myself so I signed up for a super-sprint triathlon. I remember feeling so exhausted after that race, but I also knew that I definitely wanted to do it again, but try longer distances. This is my second year training with the TriDot program. Last summer, I signed up for my first Olympic distance triathlon, and I felt well prepared for it. I especially noticed that I felt more comfortable during the swim portion, I usually struggle maintaining a decent pace and getting my breathing down so I'm not completely winded when coming out of the water. My goal is to improve my times, especially on the bike. I definitely feel that TriDot will help me achieve this.

If it doesn't challenge you, it won't change you
