I have been ridding bikes since I can remember, but I made the cycling industry my carrier in 2002. That is when I really start to focus in on all the different disciplines bicycle racing has to offer. I was wrenching for several pro triathletes starting in 2006. Which is how I was introduced to not only Kona but also triathlons. In 2008 I enter my first sprint TRI, where I suffered greatly, but had an awesome time doing it! I finely saw what the buzz was all about on the sport. I trained very hard to reach Kona in 2010 where I suffered like I had never before! After that pinnacle of TRI I went back to focusing on Cyclo-cross racing. Where I only “jumped” into TRI’s 2 or 3 times a year until 2017 when my wife and I decided to start a family. Now, I am a stay at home dad of 2, with a FULL schedule to say the least. Having to decide on just one sport discipline to focus on, I choose to devote my time to triathlons, where really the heart is. So needing quality workouts with the limited time I have to do them in, TriDot presented itself. And I haven’t looked back since. I have quality time for my family and the best training plan to make me competitive on the weekends. No more just showing up and collecting finisher medal, but really being in the mix!
