Triathlon came into my life just two years ago and now I can't imagine a future without it. The community spirit, friendships, fitness goals, racing thrills (and spills), even the relentless quest for the necessary gear, all of it, makes triathlon truly wonderful to be part of. Rewind two years and I suppose I could have called myself an occasional runner, but I didn't own a bike and couldn't swim freestyle. The sport has enriched my life in so many ways and I feel that I'm learning and growing all the time.

This year will be a jump in race distance for me to my first 140.6 - Ironman Lake Placid. Preparations have been going well so far and for that I thank TriDot coaching and the triathlon club I'm very proud to be a part of, West Chester Women's Multisport. Beyond Lake Placid I'm not sure what the next step will be in my triathlon journey, but I'm definitely looking forward to finding out.
