I got into triathlon at the age of 38. I only raced 1 tri each of my first two years before fully jumping in and working toward the half iron distance. After a couple major injuries in 2015 and 2016, I finally crossed the finish line of IM Canada 70.3 in 2017. I have hit the podium in Triathlon several times at Sprint and Oly distances and also competed on Team USA at ITU World Championships in Denmark in 2017 for Standard Distance Duathlon. In 2018, I hit the bucket list goal of completing a full Ironman at IM Louisville. This sport has given me huge challenges which I love and more than anything has given me an amazing community and tri family. There is no other sport quite like ours and it is accessible and supportive to everyone that wants to try. I am looking forward to 2019 with a couple half ironman distance races and using TriDot to turn it up a notch as I work toward another full IM in 2020!
