After graduating High School in 1984, where I ran track and cross country, I started to play hockey and this was the only sports that I played with the exception of a bit of softball for a few years in the Summer. I remember sitting in the living room with my brother in the early 1980's watching the Ironman broadcast on tv and saying to him "that would be fun to do someday" and never really thought of it again. I became very busy with work, life, family and business for many years and never even thought of running much. After hearing of Ironman Lake Placid, in 2012 my daughter and I went to watch the event and I was hooked! We went back to volunteer in 2013 and I signed up for my first race since High School. Now I needed to learn how to swim. In 2014 at age 48 I began my first season of triathlon and have not looked back since.

In late 2018 I heard about TriDot and joined and saw some great improvements in just a couple months. After finishing 3 full Ironman distance races and many other triathlons I am very happy to see where this plan has got me already and also very excited to see where TriDot will bring me!

Never give up, Anything is possible when you stick to it
