Bio
I started triathlon because my nephew asked me to do it with him. Prior to that, I was only running, but with some training and dedication, I completed my first sprint when I was 32. Fast forward twelve years and it has become a huge part of my life. The life skills learned through triathlon I now pass onto my own children. Fundamentally, training for a triathlon was something I completely failed at. Spending too much time over training, getting injured and not balancing my home, work, sport life was becoming normal. With the TriDot methodology, I have been injury free, spend less time training yet I am stronger and faster at all three disciplines, and I have so much more time with my children. The results come from Trusting the Process.
Background
I grew up in New York where I completed my first sprint triathlon. Not long after, I migrated to Florida where the climate is more suitable for year round training outside. As an athlete, I focus on nutrition, family balance and training. As a mother of three, I want to be able to teach my children to seek out their dreams, work hard and live their passion. As a coach, my goal is to provide the best support and guidance accompanied by data driven technology.
Philosophy
The sport of Triathlon is a way of life. What you learn from completing a triathlon changes the way you look at life. You become a different person. You become better with your families, with your job, with community. Coaching not only prepares a triathlete for their race, its also preparing that athlete to become a better version of themselves. My goal is to partner with you, to prepare you for your race with the best data driven program, continuous support and appropriate feedback. Likewise, I would expect your feedback as an athlete so that I can ensure I am delivering on your expectations of me. I have coached athletes on Sprint, Olympic, Half and Full Ironman Distances.
